Mexican Society of Nuclear Medicine began its activities on July, 26th, 1965, in Mexico City by the interest and enthusiasm of 13 medicine doctors and 2 chemistries.

Actually we still have the honor of learn from our founders Consuelo Arteaga de Murphy, Eduardo Murphy Stack and Alberto Zimbrón Levy, whom during all their lives have demonstrated a great interest in the developement and growing of Nuclear Medicine and a great love for the Society.

During this 37 years of activities we have performed 36 national congresses, 27 autumm meetings, many courses and notables scientific activities. During the academic activities, we have invited important reasearchers from United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.

Our Society has had great moments with high level scientific activities buy also has had great economic crisis. This crisis almost have disappear our society many year ago.
